    FFIM

i just bought my lipp intercooler piping, and a bigger intercooler over christmas break. im happy with it, and its good for 500rwhp. i also just bought a greddy manifold, dp, and hks wastegate. but i still don't have a turbo, injectors, or clutch, plus i have to save for a tune....... maybe in...

    FFIM

ok..... heres the deal...... in a perfect world, i too would have a ffim. i can weld, but right now at college away from home i don't have the time or resources to make one, also, i can't have my car down for that long (its my main transportation). im not disagreeing with you that they are...

using exhaust pipe for intercooler piping?

This is a mighty bold statement. With 892 rwhp, he should be well into the 9's. However, so many times, import drivers will build HUGE power and then run on street tires, or not touch the rear end and suspension. That is unheard of on a mustang. Supra owners drop their cars 2" and then tell...

    FFIM

I think everybody will generally agree that the stock system (minus the piping and intercooler) is efficient. So yes, the stock throttle body is good for 450-500. Yes the ffim looks GREAT. the stock piping route isn't IDEAL, but its been proven to get the job done. If you ahve the money, and...

    FFIM

FFIM's are not nessesary. They are a hoax. The highest stock bodied mkIII I've ever seen was on a ported and polished stock intake manifold. 684rwhp on boost, and 730rwhp with some laughing gas. http://7mpower.com/will_neely.shtml (this was all on stock cams too!!!!!!) just do your...

    turbo upgrade ?

before you worry about a turbo, you need all ur bases covered. like a complete tune up to make sure your car is running perfect. wire, plugs, new fluids in tranny, engine, and rear end. probably a new head gasket if you want to make any power at all, and if your engine has a decent amount of...

    11 second Street Car

haha, that reminds me..... all this talk about expensive factory cars..... i was at a car show and there was this salesman standing by some of the new 04 cobras. (this was back in 03) i didn't know much about them, but i'd heard that they could run low 13s in stock form. so this salesman...

    935 motorsports flywheel

from what ive heard, the moly/steel clutches are lightyears better. they hold up longer, and give the same performance. i don't think any race teams use aluminum flywheels. thats what ive been told and have come up with from my own research.

    Injectors???

If you had a REAL good tune, you could MAYBE squeeze by with 550's. Your safest bet is 680's. Check this website out, they have a table where you enter in your requirements, and it'll give you the injector size you need. http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm#WORKSHEET

    good tires

car and driver did a very thorough article of all the best tires. it was done on an m3 i think. so everything was equal. from what i remember, the goodyear f1's were the best in wet traction by far and held pretty well in dry. the bfg kd was the best in the dry. the bfg dk/W seemed like the...

Some runs with the new set-up. Still probs.

nice, i just looked at your dyno chart. looks good, seems like that turbo comes on hard and fast. im glad somebody finally went with a smaller street turbo instead of these dyno queen turbos. i hope to have a somewhat similar set-up. i know a guy selling a garrett gt4088 that should spool...
