Be weary of ebay or other carbon fiber hoods. Every one that I've seen aside from CFX has had ripples and valleys in the hood that make it look like crap. Spend the extra $50-100 and get a hood that fits as well as it looks

Spec stage 3 or 3+ would be your best bet for the money. Other good choices (but more expensive) are the RPS max and the HPF bronze & feramic.

When mine went out in the MK3 it didn't make any noises -- it just would spin the right wheel only. When the LSD started to go out in the MK2, it would act like an open diff then make a loud "clunk" before acting like a LSD... Anyway, bottom line is your diff is worn. A used diff will cost...
