EDIT -- RECOVERED! I've got to be the luckiest SOB alive. The car was recovered a few miles away. No external signs of forced entry although the steering lock is broken now. The fuel was right at "E" when I parked it, and my theif was kind enough to leave the car with 1/4 tank. He did help...

Any universal 3-wire bosch sensor will work (as a threaded -- not for stock fitment). You should be paying around $25-$35 for one that is universal. A little more for one that is intended for an application (with a plug on the end of the wires)

Shawndude did some testing a while back and found that the strut braces (2-point) had no effect. The triangulated one by CP racing should work better, but it is not adjustable and requires shimming to fit on some cars
