Well, there you have it ppl. I have witnessed great customer service from the ebay seller, and now we have a member who says quality is very good!!! :D Clearly they are not ppl out to screw us mk3 owners over!! WOOT!!!! LoL Unfortunately, as I said before, I have already made my order with...
OK Pics as promised:

Getting there with the adapter
Front Bumper Off
Couldn't get this off... the bolts are on too tight for my tools... need a breaker bar

Stripping the valve covers

Thanks!! sorry been busy past couple days, I decided against the DM kit because I read a couple threads and the amount of relocation is just too much, So I decided on the 2.5in piping kit with the spearco style IC that doesn't require relocation of the oil cooler and hopefully the coolant...
Awesome, good news, the seller was very very helpful and refunded my purchase sans ebay fees... ugh fees... hate them. Dunno about the quality of the hoses, but damn!!! the customer service was quick and helpful!!! LoL so once my Bank figures out the mess of my transfers refunds etc etc, I can...
Agh the unfortunate thing is... I'm stranded at home... the nearest auto parts store is a 20 min DRIVE away... I don't think putting my car back together when I've already removed all the bad tubing is a good idea... no telling what might happen to the hoses if I decide to drive with them...
Well as for me... new breakthroughs, my BOV is stuck in the open position, so it is now more cost effective to upgrade with the driftmotion kit... I'll just have to find another way to fix my cracked PCV hoses... maybe generic ventilation hose will do the trick. Plus I need to find me a plug for...
Now that I have discovered all these issues... I think you are right, it might just be cheaper for me to get the kit and plug the bov port on the accordion pipe (where in the world do I find those... plugs that people are using???). I still need to address the cracked pcv hoses and breather...
I actually was looking at that... and I emailed HPF to see if they could tell me exactly what the kit has. Upon further research it seems the Samco kit only replaces coolant and heater hoses, plus it's only a 10 piece kit. We shall see once I hear back from HPF
Alright just back from another bout of measuring. The 3000 pipe at narrow end (including the bead at lip) is 2.25in. At the tb end it is 2.75in EXCLUDING the bead, which is prob why the dm 2.75 coupler is really tight.
The pipes from the turbo to IC: pipe inside diam is slightly more than 2in...
Alright some of these are form yesterday:
I think the vent tube off the CC is supposed to go in there....
Is there any way to clean the inside of my intake manifold???
From 1 to 6, my spark plugs:
photobucket is gay... always leaves ONE photo unuploaded... oh well you...
Alright, after measurement, my conclusion is.... I have NFI see for yourself:
it was this way all around... is it 2.5 or 2.75??? I er to the side of 2.5... but then I look on driftmotion and they have 2.25 as the piping that connects to 3000 pipe and 2.75 from 3000 pipe to tb. So wtf...
Got pics otw. The inside of all my IC piping is pretty coated with oil... also I found my suspected boost leak... the pipe that connects to the turbo is cracked all to hell at the lip and under and past a little bit the clamp.
*facepalm LoL I'm debating whether or not to get the silicone hose kit off ebay. I can't find anyone that provides replacement hoses for all that molded stuff besides the stealership... here's my thread for that...
OH yeah and I removed every single trace of window sticker's on the inside to prepare for tinting. I originally had planned to drive to Dallas to get tinted, since Tritek is one of the best in Texas, plus they sponsor texassupras.com. However the morning of my trip, I decided I would do more...
werd... It's about time I get down under there and get a good look at my piping... last time I checked (about two weeks ago) the piping was ROCK hard so I shied away from even attempting to remove them lest I ruin them completely, but now that many of my hoses (no IC ones, but I fear they may go...
