I got a block head and cranks for 100 buck tool it home started to tear it apart. Block has already be decked and honed
The head has nothing done to it. I took All the valves, springs, and all that stuff out when I was cleaning it I noticed a pretty good scratch in head. It's located in front...
Agreed I had the the same issues when i I put my cps in it was off just a little bit when I put it in and it wouldn't start. It would try to start and stumble after a lot if cranking but no dice. I took it out and noticed it was off... Fired right up. I would try the cps agian. Like above u...
Fuck I'm haveing a bad day 34 is fuel cut... I knew that two I have been haveing code code 32 but I just fixed that so I got them mixed up. My bad I' had a dumb moment. Lol I sound like a noob
Quick question I never blew a intercooler coupler and this week I was fooling around in the supra hit 11lbs of boost. And the car all if the sudden seemed like fuel cut but I knew it wasn't. It didn't want to run at all. Pulled over couldn't figure it out. Car was sputtering wouldn't go over 2k...
Not really. It's alot easier to just remove it from the car it's not that hard just time consuming. Mark everything and take ur time.
To do it the right way you need to get the head and block decked. So you would need to take it to the machine shop
Went under the car and pulled on the brown plug I came right out without pushing the little release thing on the clip. So I pushed it back it and its secure now I think it was just loose all the other cables look good. I drove it around for 15 min turned it on and off like 6 times and even...
Ya that method usually ends up being expensive and time consuming I have a feeling it's the connectors. The starter is only 6 months old out its still possible it could be the starter
I read through all those threads about the relay mod and jetjock never really said what it was. Is it the signal wire from the ignition? I'm gunna try to fix it Thursday then go see the midnight fast and furious 6 lol
Ya you ca hear the relay click but nothing from the starter at all pushed it and started drove it home and it fired right up. I think it's a loose connection I'm gunna look at it tomorrow night
I'm not really that good with wiring diagrams to me that diagram tells me to look at the wire running from the battery to the starter a d the wire ruining from the ignition to the starter
Well the cutoff is good. The width like you said is ok. But it's alot better then what it was with just hids in the 7x6 housing. Is it the best hid set up no. I just wanted to try it out. At least I'm not blinding people.
The p/o put it in before I bought it he worked at advanced so In guessing its from there.
I'm looking into the starter relay mod. It seems like allot of people who did it had symptoms like I am having
If it was the alarm it would cut off ignition also right? Because when this happens I'm able to roll it and start it so if the alarm cuts off ignition then I wouldn't be able to do that if it was the alarm
Ya car just did it again today. I looked at my factory alarm box and there is nothing connected to it at all... It's got me stumped it does it so randomly it's like every month it will do it once
I don't see how this isn't a good way the cut off is sharp there's almost if not any glare. It's alot better then just pooping hids in a regular housing. I might have used "the right way" in the wrong terms
Ok I wanted hids in my supra so I went ahead and made some orders for my project I was asked to make a thread for this so here you go
What you need (what I used)
eBay h1/h4 projectors. 50 bucks
7x6 eBay headlights. 25.00
H4 hids. I used eBay junk ones just for test...
