Yup i didn't mention that, i didn't even mention adding water which you obviously need to do as the air comes out, reving it to 2.5k or so and holding for a bit every now and then, letting the t-stat cycle enough times to heat the radiator about 15 minutes... Didn't really want to spell it out ;)

lol, well then I'd guess you still had air trapped in your system and never fully bled it out! IIRC the heater core is the highest point in the cooling system, so even though a fully sealed system should bleed itself over time, i could still imagine some air getting trapped in the core...

I had the same symptoms, no mixed oil, no smoke, but I had a BHG, not saying you do, but the possibility is definitely there. I'd do a leak down test to be sure In the mean time try to bleed your cooling system, and replace your radiator cap, see if the problem goes away, keep your fingers...

That sound isn't good. You're hearing air in your heater core. You have air getting into your cooling system somehow, either a leak of some sort, or possibly a blown headgasket...

What did you use to apply the Por-15? That stuff is thick! HVLP Gun? What size tip? I'm pretty sure if those parts are exposed to light, they will eventually fade, the same company makes a topcoat that is UV-resistant

Maybe loose CPS wires? Do you have any codes? Try wiggling the CPS harness

Word, thats how i got my photos up so quick, with photoshop i just added an action to resize and auto level & color, batch process all 100+ and filter when it's done!

I Gotta warn ya, mine didn't match perfectly, it's so close though that it's not noticeable except in bright daylight if you're looking for it!

You can always paint it to match, I used SEM paint to match my pillar pod to my burgundy interior, I'm sure they'll have a blue that matches. My paint guy had a color swatch with all of SEM's colors, so I recommend finding a paint shop that has one and take it outside to match with your interior!
