So I shaved the little nubs off the motor mounts. Wasn't that hard of a task. Got into the base a little bit, but it shouldn't cause to much trouble. Top and botom when brand new. In the vice, it looks scared. Both shaved off, Close up

Ok cool, so just the one gasket installed on the exhaust should be fine. I'm trying to figure out what all the other gaskets go to. Most look like oil and water fitting gaskets so ill just do a search for them. Till then i'm just ordering some parts I don't really need just want to have lol...

yea ill try to post a pic of it, but I know of its risk. I live in Florida so theres no emissions....yet. I have done a lot of research on this and its just stuff I didn't need so I took it off. But I had to take it all off.

Yea if you only remove the filter part off the intake manifold. I have both removed....and the cooling plate. Not removing will also cause a blown head gasket also.

So im still waiting for my gaskets, but today I ordered a new CPS cover, and connector, a Toyota oil filter, some FIPG black, thermostat, and EGR block off set, all from Driftmotion. But people said the Samco kit doesn't fir the LHD models, and mine is a LHD. So i don't know if i'm willing to chance it, cause no one knows if this kit fits.

So I should just give them a call, and hope for the best on the price? That looks like its going to be my only option.

Im glad to hear this, cause this is my DD so my gas milage is crap anyways. I just want the clock, calender, and OBD readout to work, cause im using the SM off a 86.5 5-speed and using it on a 89 5-speed.

The head of the motor? 45-50 lbs. Maybe and thats with nothing on or in it.
