yea so far so good on the titan... i got the 2.0mm headgaskets since the head and block was shaved down previously. i only needed a 1.7mm hg, but since they dont sell that size and i am aiming for high boost levels, we went with the 2.0mm to bring down the compression
ask your machinist what...
as stated before... check codes
some places to check out: tps, isc, timing, throttle linkage and plate
did this just start happening? any work done on the car before this started happening?
get the head and block resurfaced and lapped before putting the mhg in... otherwise your likely to end up with another blown headgasket.
if u dont have the cash for that, i recommend a toyota composite hg
if you have no way of monitoring your air/fuel ratio, then making adjustments with the controller is a gamble. unless u take it somewhere to get it tuned
yea no problem. i am scheduled to change filters in about 2000 miles. some time towards the end of march.... so i figure thats a good time to get it analyzed. ill let you know
good stuff here
im using redline with dual filters (napa gold and trasko filters) on the new oil cooling system. change filters at 4500 miles and top off oil along with a oil analysis. change oil between 9000-10000 miles depending on the results of the analysis.
i was using penzoil platinum...
i dont have a pin layout of the maftpro unit... there should be one in the piggyback section. pin 7 and 8 i dont think it matters which wire goes to which
i would go with BIC DDP(non re-circulated), test pipe, and a BIC, RS*R GT 2 for what you have. the 4" is way overkill at this point not to mention its going to be very loud and intolerable for a daily driver. not to mention there are clearance issues with most 4" exhausts on lowered vehicles
