I have the Tanabe, a TMS high flow cat, and a BIC DP and it's very quite till about the aforementioned 3500rpm. Sounds stock, and the gains are incredible. It's perfect IMO.

I'm getting quotes of over $1500 to have the head machined, the head gasket replaced, and the timing belt changed. So, I've looked at another option: replacing the head gasket myself. Who on here has done that and what success have you had? I don't know if it's worth the risk just to save a...

To my knowledge Tom's never did any aftermarket stuff for the US market. A previous owner probably just bought the badge and stuck it on. Do you have any Tom's products on your car?
