are there any writeups for shimming the oil cooler? can you shim it with the motor in the car? gotta pull oil pan?
need to know plz! pullin oil pan this weekend.
oem rich is right... when i drove my 89 7mgte jdm 3.0L home my fiance said she could smell fuel bad. only way to adjust AFR is with a WB and an fuel pressure regulator right? may be the best way to tune the AFR. always wanna run a lil rich on a fresh motor until you can tune it.
doesnt make since though... if you have a short to ground at cluster or wiring, the gauge should go above red when you turn the key over. may just be a bad sensor, but 1stcar said they tried everything.
Hey, I'm not on here hardly at all and my supra has been down for the count since Christmas, I NEED A MOTOR! or if the soup kitchen is handing out 6m cranks and rods :naughty: Anyway, I'm in spartanburg over by pacolet and travel to greer by bmw for work everyday. maybe I'll see ya drive by...
Yeah, just need to make 'cleaning the terminals' part of your oil change routine, because the corrosion can actually start going down the wire inside the insulation and cause a high resistance which will give you the same problem.
Later!

Oh Damn UkiSash... And no, that's not the original, it's a junkyard motor. I had pulled it when I got it 3months ago and rebuildt it. But yeah, I was 20miles from home and I got her back. After driving about 1mile the oil gauge just dropped to BELOW the 0lbs/in2 and stayed there for the...
Yeah, not really looking for sympathy, I was actually laughing on the way home just because I couldn't believe this happened... On Christmas at that!!!

Yeah! Time to start over. :biglaugh:
Alright, Christmas of 2007 I was driving down the interstate to pick up a family member to give him a lift over to the Christmas gathering. A knocking noise occurred and I felt the motor hiccup, or stop for a split second and then start going again and...

Yeah, it would be best to do is ASAP. I've heard that the Glychol (Green Anti-freeze) and Motor oil, when mix actually create a weak acid that eats at soft metals like the cylinder head.
Just thought you should know. :icon_bigg
All the oil squirters are good for is just cooling down the pistons for HIGH HP applications. I don't have any squirters in my 7m, but I'm still stock and just shooting for maybe ~500rwhp ~600rwtq.
Oil Squirters = cooler pistons
