    targa off = wobbly car????

There were several discussions about using the 3m automotive chassis foam to help stiffen the frame, I'm wondering if it could also be used inside the A-pillars, inside the rear roof and C-pillars to help reduce or eliminate the wobble. I know that Sport Compact Car mag really like the stuff in...

    cooling help

I took the idea of one of those NAPA radiator flush&fill kits with the plastic splice in T and made it out of AN fittings. The final hose had to be shortened and the clamp cover that goes onto the head had to be removed inorder to get the hose on (it was installed while the engine was out, but...

+1 for Suprarich! Bought some new name-brand parts off of him for cheaper than anywhere else. Great service, incredible prices! Will be doing plenty of business with him in the future. Matt

anyone's supra on 18" rims? need advice

JoeyD: Your tires won't fit on your rims, you need an 18" tire for an 18" rim! Also don't put 17" in front and 18" in the rear, the mkiii is so front heavy already you will be shifting the front to rear center of gravity even further forward, not good for handling, unless you want to look...

Exhaust ! Which Greddy Model is this?

I love the Greddy SP, when I bought it it was one of the only ones around for the mkiii the HKS was 75mm and a couple of hundred more than the Greddy. It is nice and mean sounding with full turbo back 3" with no cat. After I found some Super White trim: My build thread...

    Power steering question

Simple swap, you just need to get the factory N/A lines or make some of your own, like I'm doing. See post #21: http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35609 Matt

What are your opinions of this car?

I'm pretty sure that those photos were taken in BC, otherwise the yellow Chevy in the upper left corner of the first pic would be a very rare item in Japan, not to mention importing the Winabago.

Ball Joints? or STEERING RACK?!??!! of DOOM!!!

It was something like discountsteering.com, $245 + $125 core charge. It took about a week to get, but I contacted them first to make sure they had the progressive one in stock. An internet search will bring up tons of resellers that buy out of the same warehouse; I didn't have the patience to...

    Gilsdorf's Long Road to Automotive-Nirvana

Someone just asked me how much in total I've spent on this car so they can estimate what they need to put away. Let me just say that I'm nowhere near Duane or Ron R's (or even a few others on SM) money. But if I did total it all up my wife would: A) Shit a forged aluminum brick and...

    Gilsdorf's Long Road to Automotive-Nirvana

Oliver, I used that Dupli-Color blue anodized paint, it looks pretty good in the picture, but up close there are is a lot of orange peel, the oil pan turned out better. I'm switching to N/A valve covers that I'm having polished. Since I went to a coil on plug set-up the indents (where the...
