Part throttle boost would be either a wastegate ot boost controller issue, i dont think it would have anything to do with the maft pro. But i would recommend the maft-pro for a piggyback over the others, or go standalone. I have a maft-pro for sale if you're intrested. But would suggest doing...

Thats a prototype pic of the FR-S, the production cars don't look as agressive. They need to bring the price down to 21-22k. Or boost it.

im with the canuck on this one, you deff need to get some REAL projectors and not that ebay crap. Those ebay "projectors" arnt even functional, they work worse than the clear lense headlights. moromoto minis with HID's, and some aftermarket headlight housings to retrofit is your most cost...

Only the 89+ moldings are all plastic. The Pre-89 moldings have a metal backing that is susceptible to rust. The molding I have has been painted before unfortunately.

Ill have to double check to see if my parts car has that moulding intact and without rust. I will let you know very soon.

Also it hasn't been mentioned but make sure theres no washers between the wastegate mounting flange and the turbo. This is done sometimes to raise boost slightly.

Whats the boost at? Check for boost leaks, that can cause fuel cut early.

Really sounds like a boost leak of some sort. Check engine light on? If so pull the codes. Could be the AFM acting up.

Either way, I think this thread proves why you should always chases the threads before installing head bolts/studs.

Are you turning the tap back every 1/2 rotation to break the metal chips?
