Yea I ended up getting ARP rod bolts, then found out they pull differently then the stock studs, so I had to get them line honed to make them true again. Lol, that was a bummer cause I didn't find that out till I assembled the bottom end a 2nd time. Thanks a lot Iboughtasupra. lol jk man.
Its coming, I'm running into a major problem installing a new set of oil drive shaft bearings, but its going to the machine shop this weekend to have them do it. SO that should take care of that. As soon as I get that back the bottom end is getting reassembled again, and hopefully I don't run...
+1 million on this, my car sat for 2 weeks trying to figure out why I wasn't getting any power to the fuse box. I wiggled the wire from the box to the battery, and all the sudden my wind shield wipers came on, I was like sweet. And the largest smile yet proceeded from that.
Unless you have the right machine to do this with, and the right tools to balance it properly...its a time-bomb waiting to go off. Please spend the little bit of extra cash to have it done professionally and the correct way if you do not have the tools to do it.
Yes just the entire diff. housing, the drive shaft will mate with the same bolt patterns.
No there are no input shafts on the axles, they just seat inside it and bolt to it.
