You're starting to confuse me. You have both timing gears pointing up to the notches in the black timing rear cover right? If so, don't move the gears/crankshaft as they're now used as reference to help you install the CPS. Turn the CPS rotor little by little to the left (counter-clockwise)...
It's been awhile but if I remember correctly, the mark on the moving/rotor needs to be counter-clockwise further away from the stationary mark/tab. When you insert the CPS, the rotor will turn clockwise. You have to play around with finding the spot that turns it into alignment after installing...
You need to insert the CPS with it not lined up in the first pic...that is the final result. You need to have it misaligned so that it will turn to the match marks when the helical gears mesh.
Honestly that combo is good up to 500rwhp where they both become the limiting factors.
EDIT: I'm referring to the single Walbro and injectors, not the 57 trim

I'm guessing you're leaving the engine in the car? If you put it on an engine stand and had the surface upside down/facing the ground, you wouldn't have to worry about the scrapings since they would be falling to the floor.
Oh, I thought you used the boost controller to raise your boost. It sounds like your exhaust raised it so you haven't set up the boost controller to the wastegate vacuum line then?
P.S. Nice to see another MKIII in Denver
Just to be mean...ZOMG MINE IS AWESOMEZ!!!!
I'm anxious to hear what it will sound like with my 2JZ and may actually sell it when I go single with my SP63 turbo.
I believe he's talking about finding a new 3 wire plug. Plus the Mustang O2 sensor is a screw in not bolt on sensor which won't work in the stock downpipe without a welded bung.
Throw that FCD into a trash can as there is a reason for fuel cut since you don't have any supporting mods. Most common to run 14psi is a Walbro, 550cc injectors, Lexus AFM, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I wouldn't run that high without a wideband nor piggyback to tune with.
Easiest way to tell while underneath.
Here's some pics I made when I was 1JZ shopping and one owner thought the bellhousings/flywheels were compatible. :3d_frown: Although different bellhousings, it still gives you a clear idea of how different they are with the slave cylinder.
Same thing has happened to me. After testing everything with my multimeter I was led to believe it was the alarm when after testing the starter with 12 volts, my headlights started popping up and down opposite and the alarm sounded. Locked the drivers door with the key, then unlocked and...
