No, I mean the throttle dash pot, it's purpose is to keep the throttle from slamming shut to fast, kinda like a small shock absorber, it is located just behind the tps on the throttle body.
Wayne
Well both of you are very close, it was the dashpot on the throttle linkage.
Pull it back and idle would return to normal. Ken and I adjusted it this evening and it come back to a rock solid idle everytime.
Thanks
Wayne
On a side note, Jose, could you send me those harness...
The only thing I haven't done is remove the isc to see it's state. I have all the vacuum lines hooked up, and it will do this without the throttle cable attached.

Ken and I just finished the swap and it started right up after we primed it for a couple minutes. Much props to Ken for all his help.
Now on to the glitch:
When first started up with engine cold, we get the normal fast idle, then idle will come down to about 800 rpms, but when you blip...
Damn bros, I appreciate the feedback so quick, went out to have a drink or four with friends in the garageand just got around to checking it and got a buncjh of response.
Another question, where did most of you guys get you 12x24x3 intercoolers.
Thanks again.
Wayne
What is the overall size of your intercoolers?
I have been toldf to use a 24x12x3, wondering if the core is 24 or the overall is 24?
Give me some ideas.
Thanks
Wayne
Notice there are never any folks from the hood, if so an ass whipping he would get, maybe it has happened just didn't show it. Seen mother fuccers get beat down for alot less.
Wayne
Duuuuuuude did you run over a bunch of nails, got flats, then bought those fancy donuts? wtf
Wayne
Get some spacers bro and throw some water on that bitch, will ya!!!!!!!!!!
They are still in my motor which is sitting on the engine stand. I am about to start parting it out.
I will sell for probably 300.00 shipped, for RC injectors and RC injector clips.
Wayne
I have a set of RC550's with RC clips on my motor that's on the engine stand for sale. Was trying to sell them with the motor so someone would take everything and make some space in the garage. No takers as of yet so might start to part the engine out. I know I could beat their price.
RC...
go to autozone or advance auto parts or whatever is in your area and borrow a balljoint/tie rod seperater.
a pickle fork will ruin the rubber dust boot on the tie rod.
Had a problem like that, turned out to be the theft deterrent box not giving the starter relay a ground it needs.
At the theft deterrent box under the driver's side dash, there is a blue/orange trace wire that goes back to the starter relay, think it is pin 13, try unplugging the theft...
So are you saying if in neutral and you press and release the clutch, you get a straight grinding noise?
If so, I would lean more towards your problem residing with the clutch and/or transmission, with the clutch components being the first place I would start probing.
