Lets see those before and after suspension pics!!!!!

Yeah, that's my new favorite pic of my Supra. I have never been a fan of pop-up headlights, but the clean look with them down has changed my mind. Now that front just needs a nice FMIC. :icon_bigg

Lets see those before and after suspension pics!!!!!

Well, this thread popped up at the right time since I just got my suspension bits put on over the weekend. Pictures were taken the day after installation, so the springs were probably not fully settled. Parts are Eibach Pro-kit springs and KYB GR-2 shocks.

    Best Tires in the WORLD!!!

Never buy Bridgestone Potenza RE092 tires! The previous owner put them on the Supra and my tC came from the factory with them, and the tires really suck. They provide very little feedback, are pretty harsh, and allow for very little confidence, particularly in wet weather. I have had a good...

    airflow meter

Unfortunately, the degreaser killed the airflow sensor in the housing. It's time to get a replacement AFM or a new sensor.

    Test Pipe?

This is what I have as well. When I ordered by DDP and test pipe from BIC, I just requested the slightly shorter test pipe to fit with the Blitz system.

    temptation of boost

At close to stock, the car will never make it to 15psi because it will probably hit fuel cut very quickly. And, as has been mentioned, fuel cut is annoying as hell and not something that should be sought after. I'm close to stock (intake, exhaust) and am hitting fuel cut just from boost...

how did i hit fuel cut?

With the cooler weather, I have hit fuel cut a number of times at around 10psi. I have it set at 8psi, but it creeps up to 10psi pretty quickly in the higher rpms (BIC DDP, test pipe, Blitz Nur Spec). For me, FC usually hits at 4,500 RPM, especially in 3rd gear. Today I turned down the...

What kind of intelligence do you have?

Your Dominant Intelligence is Linguistic Intelligence I guess that's why I kept spotting the misspelled words in that quiz. :D

    Safc tuning

Yep, that's pretty much it. My main reason for posting that statement was the "I thought 13 was rich?" post. If you don't know the basics, you shouldn't be messing with the settings. Read first, then act; not the other way around. But I agree that it spurred on some really good...

    safc question

Venting shouldn't be an issue with an auto since it never goes out of boost between shifts. Only time you'll have an issue is when you let off; there will be some extra unburned fuel being dumped out your exhaust. I have a Greddy Type-S vented to the atmosphere on my Talon (it's an A/T)...

    What to buy next...

Well, the Wideband can still serve as a warning tool even after the tuning is finished. And when you happen to change the setup in the future, you'll be able to retune it accordingly. I'm pretty cautious with tuning, so I like to know what's going on at all times. That's why I got the...

To targa or not to targa?

For me, the Supra will remain a street car and that's why I wanted a targa instead of a hardtop. I wanted something I can enjoy while cruising, and really enjoy when going WOT. Yes, I want lots of power, good handling, etc., but it would be fine if I never took it to the drag strip or an...
