wondering what some of your opinions/experiences with this is. I have just finished turboing my 5m in my mk2 and want to reduce under hood temps. I have a DDP stock manifold and was planning on wrapping them, but heard it can cause problems on daily driven cars, or cars that are on and running...

and holy shit wow... Just got my boosted mk2 running. 5mgte... and I can say..I fucking love it. It is simply amazing what a turbo (ct26) on stock boost can do for a motor. Im really stoked and just wanted to share...

if you have to build a custom set dont use pvc pipe...grab a cheapo ebay kit of the polished aluminum.

I just think that the ice piping in combo with the hood had a pretty good look. you couldnt have had one without the other...just wouldnt have been right.

Just wondering if anyone in the spokane area could possibly help with some SAFC tuning on my current project... Not a 7mgte or an mk3.. but a turboed 5m in my mk2... I should have basic idle and timing down in the next day or so but then I will have to work the SAFC to get fuel through...

not a mk3 but a mk2 rear seats are useless so I pulled them and made a flush mount box

fairchild is here in eastern washington. It is quite large, and has very nice living quarters.

I think it should work... let me check part numbers. One of the pumps napa carrys is the same part number for 84/85 supra and 84 cressida... so it should work.

pretty sweet. I once made an exhaust for a guy on his geo, two glasspacks welded side by side, with a ridiculouse ricer angle both out to one side and up...looked gay, sounded beast for a geo...lol

start trying to find a company to make you a custom set of pistons....go for high compression, 12:1 should be good, stroke and bore it out like you said get cams, adjustable cam gears, new bigger valves, and valve springs. some electronics for tuning, plan on buying race fuel to run the high...

on that begi unit it is a screw to adjust, no discs to replace or anything.

look in to the begi unit, it is adjustable or different pressures... here: http://www.rabidchimp.com/mk2sup_rcp_cartech.htm that will be your best bet, it has adjustability and will give you better tuning. along with your bigger injectors you may want to look into a better fuel pump, something...

My 85 was running just fine, 160k... but I was unhappy with the feel. So I yanked that motor out and am building a turbo 5m for it now...
