yeah, dont use those nipples as any type of vacuum source for boost gauge, controller, BOV etc. They do not move enough air and will not work properly. Just cap them

VE changes for your boost level. I would guestimate at least 75% at full vacuum for a healthy motor. I gave up trying to calculate that.

A mild street port will do the engine well. You dont have to go overboard and can finish the job in less than a week, part time. http://www.standardabrasives.com/ should give you a good tutorial on basic head porting. It really isnt that hard as long as you keep it simple and just gasket match...
