there's a burgundy scraped/junked pre 89 mk3 in the beginning of bones, you can see it for about a second when the 2 guys are at the junk yard...damn i need DVR and damn hulu doesnt have that episode anymore. its called The Skull in the Sculpture. Anyone else watch that episode?

yea i started doing that with candy red...chrome base and candy red on top.

if i had to choose to pick between my sc and my mk3, i'd pick the SC to build...but at the moment its my DD. I'd like to boost it in the near future, but the mk3 is getting built now so i'll hafta wait till im semi-done. Sc just looks betta IMO, to me its like a more modern mk3.
