hmmm. check all connections. once i left the CPS plug loose. i thought it was plugged in but it was just barely making a connection.

you have to remove the clutch fork.
i dunno if i should bother saying this, but you should really invest in a repair manual. even a shitty haines manual would have made you aware of the fact that you have to remove the clutch fork to take off the turbo tranny.

check your vacuum source. the line could be leaking or not hooked up at all.
if that dosnt solve your problem, either take apart the valve and see whats wrong or get another BOV.
get an extension bit. you cant expect to do the job if you dont have the tools.
also, next time you install plugs be sure to use a torque wrench and anti seize to avoid this problem in the future. i doubt the plug was in there cross threaded, it was probably just over torqued.
as far as i know the only thing in the back is the tail light fault sensor. if THAT gets wet it might burn out or malfunction.
that thing messing up wouldnt light the brake light.
maybe you guys only use one light to indicate a fault in the taillights AND for the brake system? i dunno.
