Stopped by a park near the Eastern Carolina University campus this weekend, and found something quite bizarre.

Take a look at this.

Looks like a funny... barkless tree.... so I went in for a closer look.

What the hell is this?

Looks like a bunch of human legs sticking out of the ground... looks like a knee here.

My office has those goofy trees around the parking lot.

None of them appear to be engaging in human biological mimicry however.
