What do you think happens when you leave a car sit outside for awhile? Do you drop the trans to Scotchbrite the surfaces after a humid week without driving? Run it.

How much do you think milling a head costs??? 300 bucks? If you're careful you can reuse the factory gaskets for almost everything.. or get away with replacing very little lol. it is very possible to do it for 2-300 bucks.

If it wasn't so salty out, I would go make a video of my car doing full boost to neutral with no personal intervention to show that there isn't a problem...

My car has 3 inch exhaust without a cat, so its really easy to tell if the the engine is being supplied with fuel or not. The ECU may shut power off (I guess ground technically but whatever) to the injectors, but there is a tiny bit of residual fuel. There always is. Just like when I let off the...
Poodles. Think about the situation and all of the inputs into the ECU. Yeah, the AFM is going to say that there is more air than is actually going into the engine, because you vented some of it to the atmosphere. But the throttle plate is going to snap shut, making the TPS idl contacts close...

Please tell me if you can get your blow off valve to open below 1600 rpm and I will add that to my explanation as to why vented bovs aren't as bad as people say they are. I should have explained it a little better the...
Very very true. I consider myself pretty good at controlling traction and what not.. and I drove my n/a supra in like an inch of snow.. 5th gear, 1500 rpm.. half throttle for fun and I was sideways lol

That's because when you let off the gas.. when the bov opens... The tps closes the idle contacts and the ecu cuts fuel. If your tps is set properly, you shouldnt have any stalling issues

I job shadowed someone at dynosport a couple of years back. He was tuning a Mustang on a factory ecu I believe.. seemed to know what he was talking about.. haha

I believe the Allen head bolts in the bottom of the spark plug valley are indeed coolant. I have never removed them and don't plan on, haha. Never heard of them leaking either.. you might have just spilled some coolant from taking the throttle body off.

The ONLY spot that wasn't factory paint was that quarter panel. They took it down to bare metal and went from there. The 2840 came from around 32 hours of body work. For a simple scuff and repaint.. I would say around 5-600 would be a decent estimate.
