Running tokico hp's... only have about 6k miles on em so far.. they seem to be working fine thus far, but mine is a DD so i dont get to abuse them that much even though these PA roads and Philadelphia streets arent so forgiving.

a Cleverly wired and well hidden kill switch. Not only would it be effective, but cheap as well. Just make sure you wire it to kill any hotwiring chances.. block the ground for the starter :)

yeah um .. were talking in microns. theres dirt and dust all over. Not so good for the longevity of a motor.. by "rock catcher" i mean rocks are just about all they can filter out.:icon_bigg

to check ball joints, jack up the car so the side in question is in the air(lower ball joint unloaded), then grab the tire at 3 and 9 and shake it back and forth, if it has looseness to it, replace ball joints. Also check to make sure all nuts and bolts under there are tight... like the control...

i dont know if i trust k&n as much as i used to after hearing some of the things people say about em. theyre apparently just like rock catchers. Yeah, they allow alot of flow, but they also let alot of crap through from what i hear. And for the price, id rather get a no name cone filter, but hey...

just a quick update, with this dp, and a jblmk3 3" elbow, I can hear the turbo start to spool around 1800-2000rpm.. hit 5lbs around 2300-2500... and full boost (10 psi) around 2700-3000 rpm.. a very noticeable difference in spool time and pull, and this is with stock 2nd cat&stock catback. Cant...
