i have koni yellows with my ST's and i love it. they seem to handle the increased spring rate well. i cannot really comment on how well they will work with H+R's but im sure it would be fine. and since your coices are koni's and kyb's i would go with koni's as you can adjust the dampening on...
sorry i didnt read your first post thouroghly... but for a day's pay... aw to hell with it... im just glad i only capped the stock mounting holes for now.

if i remember correctly the bilsteins are made for pillow ball strut mounts (ie. 89+) thus when they are installed on a car without them (86.5-88) it does not sit/fit propperly. its been a while since i looked into this so someone correct me if im wrong :icon_conf
