you gotta love stupid people, ya the 7M has the HG issue, but once you get that fixed its a damn good platform, the DSM is pretty much for a lack of better words......a piece. i work on and off at a shop nearby that does mainly DSM's and Evo VIII's, and they are not cheap to get reliable...

730 hp isnt exactly easy to get, but its not too hard on an LS1, my friend Jon just did 800 rwhp on a 382 stroker LS1 w/ a 88mm precision turbo at 13psi on 93 octane, the power is easy to get out of the LS series but then you have to deal with the rest of the powertrain which would go out real quick
