Here we are waiting for part of the north crew to arrive...
And they made it! :)
Some random highway shots...
And some homeward shots...
This first one is Rob risking it all to get a few good shots. :D
That's all I got folks... Hopefully someone took pictures at the...
Our drive from the East side was great. We had a pretty good head wind; but, it was partly cloudy and no rain! Not until we hit the pass anyway...
All in all it was a great meet! LOT's of cars and it was nice to see everyone again!
Here are a few pics. I have many more and will post them...
I apologize...I don't know much about the 1j ecu; but, I don't see why the Maft Pro wouldn't play nice with it.
Being that close to Fullthrottle is a nice perk! :)
Well............I got my lip on. It's not painted; but, it's on!! :D
Thanks Charles. I'm hoping to see you're ride there too. I know...it's a long shot; but, all it needs is to run. Fenders and such are optional! :biglaugh:
Well, my ride FINALLY has a lip!! :D
Here's the test fit. Note the two clamps holding it in place.
And here are a few different angles of it all mounted up. The passenger side is perfect; but, the driver's side needs a slight adjustment. I'll get to that when I pull it off to paint it.
Yep. Stock head and internals.
Probably the only thing different from everyone else is that my Intake Manifold has been Extrude Honed.
Thanks again Fred! :)
Yeah, at first I thought it was a fluke. You know, temperature difference or something similar. But, it happened a second time. Kind of scary actually...
A 2-Bar Map Sensor isn't the norm in relation to the Maft-Pro. I'd run with the masses and stick with a 3-Bar.
Yeah, as with any product, there are bugs. 4.40 had it's fair share of them. The Maft-Pro has come a long way and it still has a lot of support. As a matter of fact, a new version...
$275 is hard to beat!
Well, here's a tip that I noticed between the street and the dyno. There is roughly a 1.0 difference in AFR between the street and the dyno.
Example....if you tune on the dyno first, be prepared to be about 1.0 RICHER on the street. Not a big deal... However, if you do...
I'm a little confused by you 'MAF' term. Be careful using that term around here. You're sure to get flamed since our cars don't use MAF's. ;)
If you mean what are the comparisons between the Maft Pro in 'AFC' vs 'Speed Density', then I'd have to say that they're similar....yet different.
In...
Thanks! Yeah, that DSM is currently down; but, will be a little more of a beast when it's back on the road. I'm sure it'll be a little harder to catch. :)
It's all good. Anyone that has Hi-Res pictures of their car can email them to me and I'll work something up. It'll keep my "Creative" juices flowing... :)
