You should go, most of the people I know from the Chicago area are extremely nice and welcoming. Naturally you'll see groups of people talking, but all you have to do is walk up and introduce yourself. Meet people, have a good time!
First off, I'm not sure if this belongs in General, or in the Suspension/Vehicle Dynamics section. (Mods, if you feel this would be better off in the Suspension section, please move this thread.)
Now onto the questions.
Does anyone make poly bushings for shocks? I've looked and could not...
Wow. Yeah I'll possibly be at Mayo until 6 (when the close), according to my neighbor's experience with them. So my free time would be after 6 for sure. It would take about 2 hours to drive up to Stillwater from Rochester, so it would be a late night unfortunately. Hopefully one of the days...
Oh yeah, hey Sam, how are your pre-89 tails? Are the lenses separating from the black trim, or are they still one piece?
You put 89+ on your car, right?
does anyone have a non-turbo front pipe (pipe between header and cat) in good condition (no spots rusted through)? also looking for a turbo main cat (between downpipe and catback).
Like em on the cheap if possible, kinda strapped for cash unfortunately
Let me know what ya guys got. PM or reply...
IJ hit it right on. You said you wanted quality and that's about as quality as you can get. RonnieK's bushings are some of the best (if not the best) out there. Motor mounts you can get OEM from the dealer, and the steering rack with progressive power steering you can get from the dealer.
I'll have to do that. You're shop is one of the places I definitely want to go to. I'll drag my folks with if I have to (only taking one vehicle up there unforunately). Maybe I could drop my ma off with my cousins for a bit that day haha :biglaugh:
