sorry about that Admin! ok guys i will be getting an aftermarket water temp gauge and start from there. i will fill you guys in on my progress! thanks again guys
when did i say i knew it all? i asked a question and that was that. if you are driving a car and your temp gauge never touch the halfway point or even come close to it, would you think the car is overheating? now as far as the clutch fan goes i never said i changed it, i said i installed an...
dude if this was your post you would feel the same way! this is called technical discussion for a reason. i posted the problem here for answers not to fool around, if i wanted to fool around i would go to a chat room or something. anyways thanks for the little info that you gave me about the...
thanks a lot bro for the information! i'll just get me a water temp gauge and start from there. i know if the car is some what hot or a little high the gauge would atlease make it to halfway point but it doesn't. so it has to be something else, eather way i won't find out until i instal the...
i'm not sure about the t-stat but i know the default on my probe on the E-fan is at 180! and i left it that way since the probe is in the radiator fins and not on the water neck. i mean if it was that hot and (close to over heating) wouldn't the fan run for a long time or even kick on the high...
well do i have the wrong t-stat in the car? since it turns on before the t-stat opens. is there an aftermarket gauge that would work with the factory senser?
that can't be because the fan kicks on before the T-stat opens! so how is your statement true? i have raced 2 drag races back to back include a huge burn out to warn the tires, and the factory gauge stayed below half at all times. i have the DC current taurus 2 speed fan control and it work...
hi all,
i have a 89+ and i just recently got it running or streetable i should say. i also installed an electric fan that work perfectly but there is just one thing that i really don't get! why is the a/c fan turning on if i'm not using the a/c? did anyone have this issue?
i was thinking of originally getting the older maf translator but i called fullthrottle and asked them about the product, well long story short from what i was told the gen2 maft was the way to go for me.
my real question is, how hard is it to operate and install? and for those that have...
well thats my thing! 500hp or 550hp is as far as i want to go. so that is pretty much why i asked about maft, because this is my daily driver so i want it to be quick enough to keep up with the average joe. now why wouldn't you go over 550cc injectors with the MAFT?
thanks again guys
What is the most HP you can made using the MAF translator? i know there are newer versions but i want to walk before i ran!lol i know a lot of you guys do have or have own this maft for sure. i would like to know how is the drivability and gas consumption is. the picture is below.
