Coolant overflowing the bottle... no overheating... bad radiator cap?

All in all, it does sound like a bad radiator cap could cause this issue. Lets hope, at least.

Finally got it running and ot has a lifter tick

Although these cars dont have lifters, the TSRM does refer to the buckets as 'lifters'. Thats why i didnt bust your chops about it. And yes- exhaust leak can definitely sound like valvetrain noise. As for taking a grinder to the rotors...

Finally got it running and ot has a lifter tick

Um. I'd be more worried about the fuel pump power issues, than valvetrain noise. Check the fuel pump relay on the passenger fender well.

If the engine was cold and the power was disconnected for more than a minute, the ecu most likely did reset. It'll run better after the first few minutes of operation.

    Break up!

As for the lifetime filter... The part at the edges that you can see through is more or less clean. The rest of it (most of it) is caked with dirt. Not saying that this is your issue. Just saying that the "lifetime" thing is questionable.

    Break up!

Ohm your plug wires. Oops- edit: I see you went to DG500 setup, which would negate that possibility. Are the spark plug areas completely dry of water?

Ha! Thanks for taking the time. I know this thread has stretched out quite a bit, so I appreciate it.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

I'm pretty sure that the problem people have been having is spark breakup, which(to me) feels like losing a cylinder or two/ sputtering. Fuel cut is like driving over a parking block at 40mph.

HOW TO: Rebuild the MK3 Rear Differential.

Good stuff. I went with the same solid spacer and Wier maxgrip kit.

    Catch can hose collapsed

Collapsed under suction? That's a strong vac source. Never seen that happen.

Arctic Cat injectors in a supra?

After buying a couple of intake assemblies, then selling them off, I think I paid around $150, plus $20 for new filters, and $80 for flow testing.

Yes, I think so. Maybe that's what I'll try when these tires wear out.

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3,...NOW FOUR!

Yeah, just a slight touch of stretch. And not because I love the look, just already had these tires. FR500 replica's, 235/40/18 front, 265/35/18 rear.

Fitted my rear 5mm spacers. The fronts were so aggressive, that I really needed just a touch of Umph for the rear to match them. Looks better now.

Arctic Cat injectors in a supra?

So, I thought it might be a good idea to update this thread, since I finally got to the point of starting my engine not so long ago. Bottom line: The Denso 680cc #1001-87650 injectors work. I don't have any sort of data about what kind of power they make, but I can say that it idles quite...

    400hp or bust

Looks like a great bargain. Yeah, 550's should cover you to 400whp max. I have the maft pro and am in the process of tuning it. I used to have the maft basic for 7yrs in blow thru mode and loved it- not a single hiccup. Thing is- You don't want "Lexus 550's". It's called the Lex/ 550 upgrade...

    Operation Drive and Enjoy

I loved the drop on my Eibach's. 1" rear, 1.5" front. Only slightly stiffer than stock, and the perfect stance, in my opinion. A great balance of sport and comfort for a daily.

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2, 3,...NOW FOUR!

They're Mustang FR500 replicas. Got them for like $450 shipped. 18x9+20, 18x10+40. The rears are also available in 18x10+22 I believe. The fronts are pretty hellaflush, but the rears tuck nicely. I'd honestly say that you could fit the +22 offset with mild camber and no fender rolling. I think...
