i didn't do coded yet, i gotta find out how.
i bought a universal O2 sensor and it seemed to idle a little better and i can rev it to 2.5K now. and i'm able to control the AFR with e AFC. the most i can lean it out is 10.3
i checked the coils, no cracks, all plugs are in good. i'll take a...
yeah i was amazed they got back to me so quickly. i used their wideband on my first 2jz swap so i decided to use it again cause it's very easy to use and set up.
wait a second. i just got a reply from NGK. they said the analog output from the wideband is for data logging and is not meant to be used for the ECU, doesn't give the right signal.guess i gotta buy another one.
hey now, this weekend if i can figure out this litle electrical problem it will be done. it ran for a couple minutes, so far no leaks. just very rich and needs some tuning to get the idle just right.
the light is on, i'm thinkin my whole problem may be the O2 sensor. i guess i can't use the analog output from the wideband unit. it says in the manual i can use it with an engine management system.
i know there are threads about this issue but the search restrictions are killing me.
having some issues with idleing. i got the same problem i had before and others have had. it won't rev past 2000 rpms. once it reaches 2k it cuts out and goes back to idle.
a couple things could be...
having some issues with idleing. i got the same problem i had before and others have had. it won't rev past 2000 rpms.
a couple things could be causing it.
1: I am using an NGK Wideband O2 sensor which has an Analog output, which I have connected to the O2 input on the ECU.
2: The...
almost done, having some issues making the exhaust. hopefully it will be done tomorrow. stay tuned for a little street video
i'm learning how to weld, so my exhaust is going to look really crappy, but you really won't see it. my buddy is teaching me who is also an amature, lol
i have a 4" V-Band turbo and i want to run 3" exhaust pipes. i tried searching Summit Racing, local shops don't have anything that big.
I want to weld the transition coupler right from the v band flange then make my downpipe from there.
mine had it done when i bought the car, but now whenever the headlights are on and i turn the car off and open the door, they stay on. everything else shuts off except the headlights. they aren't automatic anymore.
i'll get a pipe made someday, for now i'll just put a filter on the turbo. if i can fit one on there. this turbo is a little larger than the last one i had, clearences are a bit tight.
