    My automatic was faster.............

suprahero, when you say bama speedway, do you mean Alabama Int'l Speedway in Steele? I ran there before I joined the military. I'll be going home on the 7th and get my car back into shape. I see that you're on the other side of B'ham, I'm in Anniston... I'd like to set up a meeting at...

Did I make a wise purchase?

I will definately need some MK2+1jz help, especially with parts. I'd also like to know about where some of the vacuum hoses go, a/c lines/compressor, coolant lines, etc, as this'll be my first 1jz motor to play with. As far as what's been done to it, I'll just have to get it and see. I...

    83 Supra + 1jz

Everyone sounds afraid of the car. And I still don't know why. The interior looks fantastic for the age of the car, and the outside is primered, good. I think I'll have it running in a week waiting for parts and such when I finally recieve the vehicle. I'll keep you all posted.

I'm not sure what type of wiring harness I need, but it MUST be able to work with the Apexi FC standalone, PnP. The ECU I won with the car, explain what you need from it to identify the type of harness I'll need. Thanks. Jeff

Did I make a wise purchase?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150013508649 Okay, so the engine needs to be wired up (easy). Also needs a driveshaft to mate the transmission and rear. It's going to be a bitch to go single when the turbo sits that far back! Will come with radiator...

4.30 why is it good ???

They change because you "can" accelerate faster, but you'll have a lower top speed. Highway cruising is at a high RPM for a con, and fuel consumption is higher. But if you run slicks, and the 4.30 LSD is good, it's an awesome strip dif, with the exception of you having to shift from 1st gear...

    MK4 rear brakes installed!

It doesn't bother the bias as much as you think it does. From personal driving, and hard braking, the MKIV TT Rears do a good job with my extra wide tires.

Blah blah blah, 9/11 conspiracy, a plane has hit the Pentagon? What do you think?

the first video, you can see the plane in the right part of the vid. Sucks that the frames per second recorded are too far apart. Looks like a small plane though, or a missle or somethin....

will an exhaust leak give you shitty gas mileage?

It can cause you to loose torque, and you'll have to give it more gas than normal, hence miles per gallon goes down.
