I've checked mine against my dyno and my safc and it's right on. If you're a little off maybe you could use a 100k pot to tune it? It seems the other resistors and things don't have much of an effect on the readout (if any).
Try it out I'm sure it'll work out fine :) Even if some of us end up...
Arp is totally worth the money. I always do 20, 40, 0, 40, 80 ft lb. 80 is a little high but I've never had to retorque them. Just make sure you use moly and all that.
I recently did a full reseal like yopure saying. Anything that wasnt gasket I used permatex ultra grey works great!
Good luck :)
Just so you know the 90s toyotas all had the same two injector connectors. There are the ones common to 1jz, 20v 4age, 7mge etc. Then there's the ones common to mkiv, ae101 4agze etc. the difference is in the little side nubs on the injectors. The ones with the nubs on the opposite side of the...
call mark at vancouver toyota in vancouver washington he stocks them. I bought all injector and coilpack connectors and got them in like 2 days.
Also, coolant temp sensor plug is common to all 90s toyotas as are knock sensor plug.
Yeah stock gasket is great. It's of higher quality than some aftermarket. Remember toyota didn't want another 7m so they overdid it lolz./
I'd feel good about running up to 30psi with one.
Of course you can!
Why not try moving the resistor channels around? Like swap 2 of the outputs and see if the problem moves?
If you needed to you can use just about any toyota inj resistor. A 4age one will support up to 2 channels.
Get the problem to jump cylinders and you've found...
Okay so 7mge tach will work fine with 1j the difference is just frequency. You have to hook up the black wire from igniter which is IG- on the diag box and same on the tach.
So go take your tach out and on the screw hole where ig- signal enters the tach look for the first resistor once it hits...
