Have you considered getting the Recaro seats from the original JZA70 Type R. Those really looks good. Jarco is selling them now but it needs to be reconditioned. The EVO and RSX both looks good either way in my opinion so you can't go wrong.

just replace the damn caps for $40.00 and if it fixes that problem then you'll home free. If not, at least you took care of the caps problem cuz it will fry eventually. I put heat sink on my ECU to help cool it a bit. Mini fan is probably the best idea if you could find one to fit inside...

or check the clutch switch ??

trials and tribulations on owning a 1J, yours isn't bad considering it ran after the swap. getting the caps replace will run you around 25-50 dollars, getting a used ecu if you can find one decent with no problems will run around 250-350. i say replace the caps already.

I'm probably among few 1J owners with good turbos as mine have not shown these symptons yet. But I know it is coming... If you have the $$ I agreed with Ric on doing a single turbo upgrade. But if not, you can try the Aussie CT12a replacement turbos with steel wheels. Been hearing good things...

Had I known that 1J can fit in the Cressida I would have told my brother long time ago not to junk his Cressida. That looks bad ass... with that HUGE turbo.

Don't know if good or not. Heard Koyo is the better aftermarket rad out there. But you can get the Toyota rad cheaper and it's guaranteed to work for sure. Got it for $225.00 brand new.
