oh,, also after the car is warmed up and being driven for a while, on my way home for just a few seconds i could smell what seemed to be burning oil?? it recently started happening every time i drive the car for a while, just a few seconds of buring oil smell.

so i ordered a new water pump for the supra,, mine started leaking. should be here tomorow.. anything important i need to know about installing the new water pump? i'v never done it before so i dont know what to expect. any help/ advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!

ok if my water pump is bad,, how much would a new one cost, and how hard is it to put on??

ok so my car has been leaking a decent amount of coolant lately... seems to be coming from the bottom right corner of the water pump OR somthing right in that area? anything else around the pump that would leak coolant>? also it DOES NOT leak while idling or slow driving... seems to only leak...

well if it has been like this the whole time, didnt blow because of it, and wasnt even blown in that spot.. i'd think it would be fine, especaily since its near the outer edge im guessing..

ok so my car with my 60-1 turbo is over boosting, turns out the waste gate wouldnt open at all, causing it to over boost,, and it wont open because its hitting the Turbo elbow exhaust thing.... i unbolted the turbo elbow and the gate opens just fine.. what in the world do i do about that??

ok never smelled anythinig, no smoke, i did unplug the boost wires,, pluged them in to another power source so the boost gague is working, but not the dash gauges

no fuse is blown though!!!

well i was re- wiring my boost gauge to a different location, in the process i was testing the bulb in the boost gauge, when i turn the dash lights on i guess two wires were touching and all lights went out for the gauge and dash gagues..... the two wires for the boost gauge are what touched...

ya, midas hates modded cars. back when i had my celica, i had it modded and the mechanic working on it must have been retarted. he had me come out in the shop and he was like uhhh i cant find the problem, whats that thing do.... and that thing over there, whats that? all the while im stading...

ya i went and picked up the car just a min ago.. the guy was talking to me about how he loved the car, hes like man that thing sound mean, and looks amazing.. but other than that the only thing i did get charged for was for the dye they used to try to find oil leaks and the time it took them to...

Well recently i have been doing alot of work on the supra, replaced the manifold gasket, coolant lines, and other random things,, finaly got the car running only to walk out to it one day to find oil EVERYWHERE around the car. :( so i got the car home, jacked it up, looked around, couldnt find...

agreed, the nuts for the oil draing flange wont fit in the dip stick hole. i'v been doing alot of messing around with the dip stick tube, the bolt that holds the tube in place on the turbo twisted inhalf, so i have no way to hole the dip stick tube in place, it keeps coming loose and i lose oil...

haha, that red one is deffinitly a happy car! biggest grin i'v ever seen on a car.... but my favorite is deffinitly the dark blue one.. dark blue MkIV = SEXY

almost done,, want to test drive,, but 3 inches of snow fell in the time i was working on the car.. :( well see how she does in snow!! its her first winter with me!!!

that would suck to not be able to floor the car when needed tho with out fuel cut.. losing power that way ;0
