buy a tool, it's like 60 bucks if you get it on Amazon: Schley 64300 I used that along with two breaker bars to break the bolt free. Works great :D

Or use a cylinder bore gauge to measure the bore of the passage through the muffler, that's a more viable option than for someone to hack up their exhaust just to find out how big the piping is...
