Noah, your Garmin was not wrong. My Garmin registered 358 mph one day. It's only because of the satellite and the earth shifting, it's minor shifting to the satellite, but by time it reaches our unit, it's a huge jump...Hence the 300mph "Max" speed. ;) Which Garmin do you have, by the way...

The best way to describe the sound of my RSR on my 7M is a (small) single turbo 2JZ. It's got the VERY raspy sound to it, yet it sounds like some kind of....well....NOTHING. Literally, nothing sounds like my car (or any 7M for that matter).

There are LOTS of 'Yota trucks with 1J's, 2J's and especially 7M's. There are a few even here local that have a straight 6 monster in it. Just do some researching on the forums, you'll find some good info. There are a couple people I know of at least on here that have put one of these...
