Well I broke down and ordered my valve bucket shims after trying every avenue to come up with a cheaper replacement. These thing are rediculoulsy outrageous! The local dealership wanted between $8 and $9 per shim. I ended up getting them from Champion (Jay Marks) Toyota. Ended up figuring to...

you know Im glad you mentioned that as I dont remember if mine even had some on them. What kinda foam did you go back with. My trick to get the tranny clean was the same as everything else i cleaned. The old wire brush on the drill trick. It made that tranny look polished. Really did a good...

ok heres some pics of stuff I got done this weekend. I wish I could say that I got done as much as Buckshot, but not! new oil seal installed in the rear. I think I would have been ok with the original as it was still soft but I changed it anyway. Also some Misc of the tranny ok...
