ya its K&N.. how do you clean them? and yes the gap is between filter and afm, so pre afm.... the only thing it does is make it less restrictive, the turbo can suck air in alot easier,, and for some reason this works on my car, like Quin said. it is wierd i know but it works.. is there a way...

well nothing else fixes my fuel cut problems,, iv tried everything and it took that simple gap to fix the fuel cut.. the shop even said at one point with the filter on it seemed like there was to much of a restriction to the afm... im not going to leave it like that, im going to find a high...

well my car aparently runs alittle different no one else has had that happen with the air filter, with the stock afm and filter on my car would hit fuel cut at like 5-6psi..with it gapped i could run up to 17psi... it was doing the same thing with the lex afm and filter so i gapped it to... and...

thank you bountykilla..... according to my wideband the car is running safely. and for those that may have not seen my last post about my stock injectors, im not even sure there 440s cause my car with "stock" injectors and stock AFM would run 17-18psi and still run rich with very little...

i have a 60-1 ct26,, stock intercooler,, hard pipes,, lex afm,, stock injectors,, safc II and wideband,, full 3in exhaust but right now im running open down pipe,.,,, the safc right now is set around +20 to +14 at lower rpms in boost it would be lean, then at higher rpms in boost it would...

well i just went out and messed around with it agian.. i backed out the screw on the lex afm alittle more and messed with the AFR's it will now hit 16psi and fuel cut... all the clamps are as tight as they will get.

so today i just took out the stock afm and replaced it with the Lex afm and K&N filter.. on the stock afm i was able to run 15-17 pounds of boost with no fuel cut... with the lex afm its only boosting to 15 and hitting fuel cut :cry: ... any ideas? i have a wideband and SAFC II to tune with. i...

i have the 60-1 ct26 3in elbow and the megan racing down pipe that is supposidly 3in as well. and after that its wide open..lol another thing i was thinking about.. i have a cheap voodoo MBC would that maybe be leaking boost through to the wastegate causing it to open and letting boost out?

how would a bad wastegate cause this problem?

for some reason the supra doesnt want to hold very much boost. right now it will boost up to 15 pounds and then drop to 10-12 pounds. at one point on the dyno it hit 15 then dropped to 7 pounds.. its a 60-1 turbo. any ideas what could cause this? i'v tighted up all the clamps on the IC...
