    Slipping Clutch Diagnosis (PICS)

Last January, I installed an ACT XTSS (522 ftlbtq). At that time, I also installed my Fidanza with a new insert. Additionally, I went through the motor and installed new bearings, gaskets, and seals. Clutch has ~7k miles on it and was properly broke in over ~650 miles. No track time or...

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

Yep, that was me. I wouldn't say that I'm having problems with the Maft Pro, it's just that I've outgrown it. ;) I enjoyed talking with Ryan. He seems like a cautious tuner, doesn't come off arrogant in anyway, and seems to be a good listener. We have only one local AEM Certified tuner and...

That higher compression is going to like more fuel. That's just the nature of that beast... Now, you just need to find a certain M3 and maintain that lead instead of losing it in the straight. :)

    Rod bearing diagnostics

The bearings are definitely new; but, as stated, the oil system was not properly prepped for startup. Buy a new set of bearings, triple check the oil pump, and clean...clean...clean... A commonly missed area of cleaning are the oil passages in the crank. My bets are on that for the debris.

    Power Estimations

Well, based on my experience, I wouldn't exceed 17 psi on 91 octane. So, my guess is that your setup will be 396 hp/385 tq @ 17 psi on 91 running 11.0 afr.

NW Section so lame on SM

No one has even mentioned it Charles. So, if you're willing, go for it! You might want to double-check with upgradedsupra and Dunckel first to make sure no one has mentioned anything to them.

    Major Machineing question

If the shop isn't very well versed in import engines, then yes, I'd cut my losses and move on to a shop that is more experienced in imports. It will save you money in the long run...

Yes, the year before last was awesome weather! Warm, clear, and sunny the whole day. It made the trek over White Pass a dream drive. And yes.....last year's weather was lame. But, who knows...maybe the sun will come out for a certain 3E5 92 this year! :D

In years past the Centralia Meet has been in April and weather has always been sketchy. Having it later (middle of May?) will increase our chances of having good weather. Just a thought...
