Where are all the super hi-res stuff?
Yep! The ones in the center are put on at the factory I never touched them and James got the DS straight from a car that had been wrecked but was pretty much stock and untouched. So I was shocked.
I say everyone should check these, I'm gonna loctite this fkers on thursday when I'm home in the...
Fixed it this morning. While I was under the car about to put the new shaft in there I noticed that three of the bolts connecting the driveshaft together in the center where just hand tight! WTF! I didn't touch these when I installed the DS in the car. Well I'm glad its fixed now.
Yea...Damn thing couldn't handle the BPU 2jz POWWAAAA
Welp, Shaftmasters is getting a call...I'm gonna drop some moneyz on it and get it fixed right, but gonna limp around on this other shaft for a while.
Welp, driving it back at 30mph, it has gotten worse. I now hear the carrier bearing flopping around like a dead fish on a dock....FUCK! Welp Gonna just put my other DS in it tomorrow.
Yea, I can...or I can put this damn bolt in that needs to be there anyways AND look at the DS at the same time! WOOT!
I'm going with A and B on this one.:biglaugh:
I understand, I'm not trying to jump all over the place, I was just trying to figure out the bolt, so while I'm under there today I can replace it. Then tomorrow put my other drive shaft in the car and check the uni-joint alignment for the one that is currently on the car.
