I did change my oil about three weeks ago, and when I put the oem toyota gasket on it was still leaking. So to stop the leak I just tightened it a little past the factory torque setting, and the leak stopped. I guess now I need to go and look around for a drain plug gasket similar to the one...

Well, today I finally got around to repacing the clips. Chip was right about the clips on the outside being the same as the inner ones. I ended up only replacing four of the clips because I didn't get the passanger side outer clip off of the moulding and didn't want to hurt the moulding trying...

I wouldn't recomend tinting the windows yourself, it will look much better if you take it to a profesional shop. On my car the windows are tinted to %32, which is the legal limit in Alabama. The windows do have a little bit of a tint on them from the factory, but when you take it to the shop...

Yeah I'm not worried about the plastic clips, I just don't want to bend the metal clips. If I would happen to bend the metal clips I guess I could probably bend them back into shape, or figure something out.

How did you remove your old moulding? Do you have any suggestions on how to remove it and not bend the metal clips, because my actually trim peice is in good shape, it is the clips that are broke.

How exactly does this trim piece come off? I tried prying the moulding like the TSRM says to, but it wouldn't budge, and I don't really want to break the moulding.
