hey ya'll
i'm trying to find out how much amperage the fusebox & starter motor draw on cranking
so here's the low down
relocated battery to boot, installed splitter box with 100amp fuses, ran cable to front of car, want to install another splitter box but this one only holds 60amp fuses...
poster arrived yesterday and i shipped it out today :)
well i assume it's your poster, i never opened it... and i think it's the only flat thing i've ordered ;)
so you should have it anywhere in 6-10days :)
what would that achieve me?
the car doesn't actually run for now.... it starts cranking... starts to catch but then fp must stop and car dies... so need to fix fp first then start on injectors
unfortunately i am working on a hacked harness and have rewired the injectors but i forgot to label...
yea i know go figure haha
but yea i think his multimeter was a bit on the mentally unstable side lol
i'll check it with mine
where should i start to find a short in the efi system?
ya reckon?
i'm gonna recheck it tomorrow with my mulitmeter but still.. the sparky things happening and intermittent fp operation
when i had the wire in fp & b+ within about 30-60secs the wire was starting to get warm
hey ya'll
i'm not exactly an auto sparky so could ya help me out here
under what circumstances would the fuel pump wire put out 18volts?
what would cause this?
remedy i was going to do was get the fp wire from the ecu & actual fp wire and put it into a relay on the ignition as we...
bad turbo = white smoke... i did the same thing as post #2 lol
if ya wanna check ur turbo when she's warm rev her to bout 2k rpm and hold it then have someone watching the exhaust then drop the throttle, that's how i've diagnosed turbos previously :)
