yes!!! if you put this motor in and it does get a BHG then the rebuild is going to be 3 times expensive. you could pull it out now and remove the head buy some arp studs a oem HG and retourque and your done... if you get a BHG your going to need new bearings, possibly pistons, bored out, decked...

i think mines dying. bought it drove it home drove it for a week. drained the oil, less than a quart. 20,000 miles later shes still going. but i know that had to of hurt it. no knocks yet.

actually when i bought mine, down on the motor mount was a half joint. lolat first i thought, is that mine??? then i felt it and it had to have been atleast a year old. it was sooooo crunchy. Almost debated smokin it!!! lol

My advice to you, is to freshen up the engine now while its pulled. even if it runs nice. Wouldnt you feel better to have the confort of know that you replaced the headgasket yourself than get it in the car all bolted up and drive 1000 miles and fuck your motor up because you didnt wanna crack...

all i need for ac is my lines cleaned and a compressor. i have no leaks. i just dont have the 200 for a compressor and 40 for freon. it getting cold here now so no need for ac.
