    Exactly. Slow, even with my TRD cams(which are pretty chunky) also which I don't have the specs on yet, but even they won't idle below 1200 rpm comfortably because of not enough vacum.. @1200-1300 rpm the engine is making 9"s of vacum but it sure don't sound anything like the stockers...

    Weighted shift knob

    The shifter mod thing is ok and suits the purpose for awhile, but if you can afford it I'd suggest going with a shorter throw shifter kit as there are a couple of different types available now. The weighted shifter knob is the way to go if you can find one. Try the MOMO site. :naughty:

    I did the sogi mod. The shifter I'm using is a MOMO carbon fibre weighted sphere. Nice knob(that's what she said). But as mentioned it does tend to come loose for the first while till you tighten it a few times and get some indents into the shaft.(she said that too). :naughty:

    rps clutch problems

    Did you resurface the flywheel and did you install the disc the right way? That's all I can think of. I'm using the RPS 3200lb PP with stock Toyota disc with no probs here.(knock on wood).
