i like your determination to get and keep your car running smoothly. i wish some of the supra owners i know personally were like that. for instance, a very nice 92 turbo, 5-speed, sunroof car with the charcoal leather has been sitting for over a year and a half. and the head has been lost somehow.

i don't know about the mkii, but the auto mkiii uses a 3 piece cable and it is usually the elbow that breaks on mine, i went auto to 5-speed by the way. in four years, it has broken twice, so now i keep an extra in the tool box. i guess i could just ditch the elbow and use the tow piece...
