i was thinking
the 2jz is a 3.0
it has 440cc injectors
certain years use afm but i believe we can choose 2jz, 440 inj, kv afm, it supports group firing for an inline 6
so i don't see why we can't use it
the only bit i wasn't sure of was cam and crank trigger signals... is crank...

start it cold, top end... tap tap tap gone! and it's not every day, just sometimes
when it breaks i'll fix it ;)
electric drill + sandpaper drill bits + 120g + 320g + 400g + 800g + 1200g + 2000g + alloy polishing compound + polishing pads = bling ;)
make sure when you use the drill that you don't lean too hard let the drill do the work and if you do make uneven sections use a block and sandpaper to...
that's the big thing... no the car has not run for the past 2 owners... we swapped in another dizzy same result, but have not put in the wiring harness again and tried it since
once we have the wiring harness back in and triple checked the dizzy we'll see how she goes :)

hmmm nopes, i retimed it twice the other day, cams def at tdc and so was crank, the 1g dizzy's have the same marks as the cps, so i lined em up and put the bolt hole in the middle-ish, just like the cps and yea she's doin that
the 1g dizzy is annoying coz it doesn't just have one rotor arm it...
as a temporary measure we have joined the ign feeds together so they now all have power
i will have a look at the dizzy again but i'm sure it's correct
this is a 1ggte so it has a distributor rather than a cps but same deal really

k... so there was a harness hack job which i had to repair and add on plugs and stuff
fixed it up... but may have had injectors on wrong firing order
but when cranking it acts like the timing is out
