I believe they are still out bench marking but still I believe per dollar AMD is better. I don't really follow this anymore either though. Also, I don't know if I'd go w/ a 500w ps... I'd go a bit higher maybe 600-700... just incase you want to do sli / crossfire or add a bunch of other things...
