My car is N/A also, but I park it in gear with the parking brake. I even park automatics with the parking brake and park. I like to be extra sure that the car won't roll away :)
Thanks, I missed those pages in the TSRM. I'll definitely check this out when I get time. It's like 85* out right now so hopefully it wont get cold until I get this solved.
I have already verified that the VSV is working. It pulled the arm up on the valve and let the hot water in like it...
Yeah it would be nice, but my car is a stick shift and I park it in gear so the remote start won't really work. Did you get the alarm through the shop or online?
$180 sounds like a really good price too. $338 for a two way alarm with remote start installed sounds like a steal to me. I'm not...
That's not bad. I'm debating having an alarm like that put in my car. I wouldn't need the remote start, but I would kinda like the keyless entry. A while ago I tried to add a shock sensor and glass break sensor to the factory alarm but I was only ever able to get the glass break sensor to work...
That's good that you like the alarm. If you don't mind me asking how much did they charge you to install the alarm and was it a local shop or a place like best buy?
So the other night it was cool outside and I went to drive home. I waited for the car to warm up so I could have heat, but even when the car was warm all it would do is blow cold air. The A/C was off and the temperature was set to 85*. Even by the time I had gotten home after a 15 minute drive I...
If you ever end up down in Alabama you can go to the Space and Rocket center here in Huntsville. They just built a new building there with an original Saturn V rocket suspended form the ceiling in its separate stages. Its pretty cool to see it and realize how large it was.
That's probably the power antenna. The original head unit had an indicator on it labeled "diversity antenna" and it would switch between which antenna had better reception.
Today and yesterday I took the car on the longest trip I have had it on, ~500 miles round trip. It ran perfect all...
It might be. I can't remember what the antenna plugs look like on the car, but the car does have two of them. One for the power antenna and one for the antenna that is built into the back window. you probably want to use the one for the power antenna and just leave the other one unplugged.
They better not. It looks like a pretty clean one from the picture he posted.
Buy every MKIII you can! It's an investment and it can't go wrong!!! Seriously though, I wouldn't mind the value going up, but I don't plan on selling mine anyway.
Its the number for all mk3's so for the later models its in the 100,000s even though only a few thousand were made in those years. Mine is the 47xxx MK3 to be made in total not just for 87.
