I was in Portland from the 19th-29th...the weather there was really bad. I can't imagine having to drive a Supra in those conditions! It was a chore even in my Dad's lifted F350 4x4 with traction tires!

I've had to bypass the alarm and fix cold start/idle problems with my car as well. I think you should worry about fixing the starting problem first, then diagnose the cold idle problem...
You don't need to do that.
And you didn't answer my question about the alarm sounding while the connectors are unplugged. The alarm should cease to function completely with those connectors unplugged.
We already determined that the alarm isn't your problem...why would you want to disconnect a functioning system?
Try locking and unlocking the doors a few times with the key.
My car had this same problem when I first bought it...new starter and it has been starting perfect for over two years now... I used an Autozone rebuild, and had my mechanic install it for $80. :)
