Since when does matt know how to work on supra's??.... He can pull my motor out in .001 seconds, but im not sure he could handle something as difficult as changing out the fuel filter.. :sarcasm:
Ok finaly good news. The problem has been fixed. Still not exactly sure what the problem was though. I took out the injectors to have them test flowed and cleaned. The guy from the shop called me and said all the injectors were flowing great, and flowing equal with each other and that they didnt...
I Think i have sourced the problem! Since i could NOT feel the #1 injector pulsing i looked further into that issue. I pulled the spark plug wire off the #1 spark plug, I started the car and it ran at the exact same RPM as it does with the wire connected to the spark plug, only difference is it...
So would slight of a difference cause the break up under boost? The pickups look like there in good condition, no cracks or anything.. i wonder how they got closer. And can they be adjusted?
Ok well i checked the resistor and it was pulling 3 Ohms like it was suppose to.
I checked the TPS and it was within specs.
I checked the 3 plugs in the coil pack from the ignitor for good voltage, there fine.
I then checked the CPS air gaps. TSRM says they should have an air gap...
going back over to my friends house to check alot of things. Going to check the ignitor, CPS air gaps, TPS, and what ever else i can think of. If the injector got grounded wrong or had an issue with the ground would the plug going to it still have 12volts?
Ok ill check the cps, i already checked the Ohms on the afm and all the terminals read 0 except for the last two closest to the filter, those two read .15 ohms
I re-wired the CPS and its still haveing the same problem. Im really lost at this point and really need some advice as to what to check next. I feel like bashing my head into a brick wall at this point.
well we checked the power going to the plugs and they are all getting power, so it would seem the problem would have to be in the injector. I just dont see how the car would run if the injector is bad. but there is absolutly no pulse that i can feel in injector 1
Ok we checked the injector plugs for voltage. All plugs were getting around 12.8 volts. so its not a wiring problem.. Does this mean the injector is bad if i cant feel it pulsing? Im wondering about #6 injector to, the pulse is very weak, almost cant feel it.
yes i rewired the CPS. Didnt fix...
Since my car has been missing out under boost I randomly decided today to feel the injectors while the car was running. To see if they were pulsing. I found that injectors 2-5 were pulsing pretty good. #1 injector I felt no pulse at all, and #6 had a slight pulse to it but not as strong as 2-5...
